Make under-hood access more convenient with this gas strut conversion for the Mazda MX-5 NB and NBFL. The strut supports the hood while you work, replacing the factory prop rod and giving the engine bay a cleaner appearance.

Gas-assisted lifting reduces the effort needed to raise the hood, while damped movement near full extension helps it reach the open position smoothly.

Both mounting brackets are powder-coated in semi-gloss black for corrosion resistance and a subtle finish that complements the engine bay.
